That will depend on how much contact you would like. I meet with clients at least twice a year but sometimes more. I also normally have 2 to 3 seminars a year which clients are welcome to attend.
How often will I receive my statement?
Statements are issued during a month that activity takes place. If there is no activity a statement will be issued every 3 months.
How can I request electronic statements so I don't receive paper statements?
Yes, you can go online and indicate that you would like to get electronic statements only.
How can I move funds between my bank account and CIBC?
This can be done electronically online.
How do I access my account online?
Please email or call us. We need an email address and your mother’s maiden name in order to set up access.
Can I deposit a cheque made out to me from someone else?
Unfortunately, under the government regulations we are no longer able to accept 3rd party cheques.
What kind of information do I need to provide to open up an account?
We need the following info: Name and address, Banking information, Current earnings and approximate overall wealth, Marital status, Copy of identification, such as driver’s licence or passport and Social Insurance Number
Can I make an Retirement Savings Plan Contribution online?
Yes, but you will need to bank at CIBC and have online access. Please call 604 691-7209 if you have any questions and remember to allow for at least one banking day to process.
How do I get funds out of my Retirement Income Fund?
That depends on your needs. We can set up the interval several ways from monthly to annually. The longer the funds sit in the RIF the more tax free income is accumulated.
